Looking forward to seeing you at the last event of this fiscal year
Dear PGITI Members,
Happy May everyone! We can’t believe we are almost at the end of the fiscal year - time really does fly! However stay tuned as we are still busy working and have another exciting event coming up. On May 12th you can join the “Bengals behind the Scenes” tour and get to see the Paycor Stadium from a whole new perspective. We hope you can join us at this fun event!
The past month has been very busy too with lots of different events. First, we had three pottery-wheel throwing workshops which were very popular and booked up really quickly. Members had a great time learning a new skill and creating pottery pieces with their own hands. Thanks to our Coffee team Elizabeth and Imama, for bringing us this creative and challenging experience. Then, on April 21st , we ‘let the good times roll’ and enjoyed great evening of dancing and fun at Somerhaus. Thanks to our Programs team, Ina and Chevy, for organizing this wonderful event.
Finally, on April 27th we had our Annual General Meeting at Kenwood Country Club, where we enjoyed, amongst other things, an inspiring talk from Cincinnati Sizzle women's football players. We also communicated some upcoming changes. We are very happy to welcome two new members to our lead team for the next fiscal year - Caron O’Hanlon is joining as chair for Newcomers and Anita Soares is joining our Programs team. At the same time, we are sad that Ina Pfuhler, Chevy Machado and Murielle Benros are leaving our team. We thank them both for their many years of dedication and hard work for PGITI and we wish them all the best for the future.
Also at the AGM, Nicole, our Interest group leader, shared our new structure and activity areas and our Coffee team shared an overview of the events planned for the upcoming fiscal. Altogether, we have a lot of great activities and events planned for you for the year ahead and we hope you are as excited about these as we are.
