Dear PGITI Members,
Happy March everyone! It looks like Spring has finally sprung, bringing us fresh mornings and sunny afternoons. What a joy it is to be in Cincinnati in this truly beautiful season!
We hope that everyone who joined our recent social coffee morning and our cooking class had wonderful time. It was fantastic to see you having fun learning and connecting with others, while surrounded by all that amazing food! I think we did stuff ourselves as well as the wontons!
Looking ahead, we have a number of exciting events coming up including a class on Gemstones, our AGM at Kenwood Country Club, a visit to the NK Spa and a hike/cultural tour at Sharon Woods. They all promise to be great events, so check out our PGITI postcards and the webpages for dates and details.
Last month, we made a call for more members to sign up for our Lead Team. This is to make sure that we can continue to offer you the same high quality and diverse program next year and beyond.
The good news is that, since then, a couple of people have stepped up to fill certain roles. However, as it stands, we still need to fill two chairs for our Family Events.
Family Events are a very important element of our program. Not only are they fun and rewarding to organize, they also provide unique opportunities for PGITI families with children to meet and make friends outside of the everyday environment. Feeling part of our diverse community of families can help our children (and ourselves) feel more broadly connected and help us all thrive.
Net, we really need your help to keep our Family program going! Whether you are a newly arrived member or have been here a while we would love to hear from you. Please contact us atThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Regards,
Carole
