It’s almost February; that awkward gloomy month, when nothing special happens, and you find yourself camped at home riding out the bad weather. Fancy a good warm soak in the tub with a good book and a relaxing candle? Not a bad way to spend your time indoors especially if said candle is custom made for you by YOU!!

This February, we will go to The Candle Lab in Anderson to experiment with scents and discover our personal styles. You will have an entire wall of 120 different scents to pick, choose and match from. After you finalize your favorites list, you can pick your jar, then head over to the scent scientists who will help you cut down your choices to the ones that best work together to make your custom scent. Next, you will mix the oils, pour the candle, and create your own label. Et voila, you are now practically a seasoned candlemaker!
Once all candles are poured and happily cooling on the rack, we will take a brisk 5 min walk (or 1 min drive) to Leyla Mediterranean Restaurant. A few delicious grape leaves, scoops of creamy appetizers, sizzling falafels, smokey grilled meats, and gooey cheese-oozing honey-dripping kunafas later, we can head back and pick up our ready to take home candles.
