Participants will be asked to volunteer one hour of their time to help with weeding and mulching. A picnic on site will follow and may include a tasting of some edible plants and fruits depending on their availability.

We will visit Chef Paul Liew's new restaurant in Mt. Lookout and learn how he makes roast duck. There will also be a pumpkin carving demonstration by my friend Dennis Kokoruda.

Entrance fee for the event is $5 for complementary Malaysian noodles snacks, Malaysian Nyonya desserts and soft drinks/water. Whoever wants alcoholic beverages/wine, it will be BYO.
Entrance fee: $5/pax - limited to first 20 registration.

Book Club 2 - October 2019

We will be discussing "The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin" Both a dazzling family love story and a sweeping novel of remarkable ambition and depth, The Immortalists probes the line between destiny and choice, reality and illusion, this world and the next. It is a deeply moving testament to the power of story, the nature of belief, and the unrelenting pull of familial bonds."
