We are pleased to introduce the new PGITI activity group "Weekend Warriors" led by our member Kristy Abello.

The essence of the group is to provide opportunities to explore places of interest near Cincinnati during the weekends; from visiting nearby cities, states and national parks, to weekend getaways during long weekends and holidays.

Main activities will be outdoors. Most activities will be condensed to one full day, with a very early start and late finish. Some adventures being considered are:

• Cuyahoga National Park (day trip for hiking, 3.5 hour)
• Mammoth Cave National Park (day trip for cave tour, 3 hour drive)
• Gateway Arch National Park (overnight trip for city tour, 5.5 hour drive).

We will target to organize one activity per month. As this is a new group, we welcome new ideas for weekend activities and we will appreciate volunteers.
