May this year be full of cheer and celebrations for you and your loved ones
Dear PGITI Members,
I hope that you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. For many of us it has been an opportunity for a long awaited catch up with our family and friends, and for those whose plans had to change and this was not possible we are always together in our hearts and online! As we welcome in 2022 we hope this year brings us many opportunities to safely visit and catch up with our families and friends around the world.
At the beginning of last year we were hopeful that this pandemic would be having less of an impact on our lives. One year on it is easy to forget the progress that has been made with vaccines and understanding this virus, when it still impacts our lives and those of our families and friends around the world. Though whatever the situation, the PGITI lead team continues to prepare and run events and activities that are both educational and social for all our regular members, associates members and especially newcomers with in-person and online options. We kick off 2022 with the return of our Family Winter Party and Online and In-Person Pilates classes (check out the details inside this newsletter). We are very mindful of keeping our community safe and the health and safety of our members is a number one priority for us.
As we embrace the season of new opportunities and resolutions I would like to invite you to join our team and bring your enthusiasm, skills, creativity, ideas and suggestions to the PGITI Community. If you have a couple of hours spare each month and want to use your talents for our community please get in touch. We always need extra input in all things to do with accountancy and finance, IT and website related areas as well as event planning and social activities. Whatever skills you have to offer can be put to use in our community and help you develop new skills and make new connections in the process.
I am looking forward seeing you, talking to you and meeting together throughout this year. Whether this is online or where possible in person at one of our fabulous activities.
Warm greetings and Happy New Year to everyone. May this year be full of cheer and celebrations for you and your loved ones.
