We have some very important news for you!
Dear PGITI Members,
We hope that you are staying healthy in the frosty but beautiful Cincinnati.
In case you were wondering why we are using the plural...we do have some very important news for you. Otto, our chair, has decided to leave Cincinnati for the warmer climes of Florida. As of now, we (Barbara Engel and Carole Wilkinson) are stepping up as new chairs. We literally have some big shoes to fill, so thankfully there are two of us.
Many of you will know us already from our respective roles as Coffee chair and Treasurer. If not, we won’t bore you with the details, so please check out our bios on the website. As we take the roles, we thank Otto for his service to PGITI and wish him all the best in the Sunshine State.
Separately, in spite of the chill and Omicron, we hope that some of you are still able to find a way to enjoy our city. Maybe some of you found a great spot for sledging or doing other outdoor winter activities. Or maybe you took the opportunity to join in our wonderful Mat Pilates and Winter Party events. If not, don’t worry, we have plenty of fun things coming up for you this year, starting with our on-line Chocolate Truffle Making on Feb 8th, that is going to be fun AND delicious! Check out the details of this and other upcoming activities inside this newsletter.
Going forward, we urgently need volunteers to take over our former roles and to help PGITI in general. If you want to give back, it’s a great way to meet people and to use talents for the good of our others in the community. If you are interested please reach out to us - we would love to have you on board.
Finally, we are looking forward seeing you, talking to you and meeting together either on-line or in person. In the meantime, stay warm, safe and healthy.
